Collana: AA - 1996 Capri - Energy and Environment towards the year 2000

Note:
This paper discuss and present results on which impact the heating system in low energy buildings may have on thermal comfort and indoor air quality. The study shows that in low energy buildings the temperature distributions in a room will be more uniform, less radiant asymmetry and little risk for down draught due to cold surfaces. It is also shown that by the combination of an individual room control and the high degree of “self control” a floor system cam be efficiently controlled.
The paper also demonstrate how a floor system may be used for cooling and present a method for design and control of floor cooling systems.
