Note:
A model of fluid catalytic cracking riser reactor which predicts the conversion of oil feed to heavy cycle oil, light cycle oil in the diesel boiling range, gasoline and coke for different operating conditions and feed composition is proposed. Its reliability is tested by comparison with data from commercial units. The model represents a powerful tool to determine the optimal operating conditions to obtain light olefins for the production of reformulated gasoline.
