Originally a method to diagnose the energy consumption of the residential sector (residences and buildings) was developed. After many testing the results were tabulated, providing important conclusions for the energetic sector. Approved the methods efficiency, a computer program wsa developed to automatize the data entrance and ease the calculation of certain energetic factors that are important index to the results analyses. The software is available to all IBMPC computer users (or any other compatible) and will calculate some global and individual factors related to familiar income classes, as others, comparing the example cases with a data base and producing a final report with sugestions explaining how to use the energetics in a rational manner.
