Note:
This paper approaches the complex subject of the response of volume piston heat expanders under pressure dissipating conditions in a distribution system. Maximum refrigerating and mechanical power are shown to correspond to optimum pressure loss across the sections given by the expander valves. The analisys is focused on original simulations of admission and discharge processes.
